Job purpose

We are looking for a PR Manager with a proven, relevant track record in designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level. Strong relationships with targeted local and national business and industry media outlets are a must.

Exceptional writing and editing skills, proven experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and strong event planning experience, both online and offline, are essential. As a ‘hands-on’, team player they should be able to work on their own initiative, under pressure and often to tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be personable, organised, and confident in managing both their client and team’s needs.

Main duties and responsibilities

The role of a PR Manager includes:

• Pitching and building relationships with journalists to sell in media stories and garner coverage for clients
• Writing engaging copy including press releases, pitches and byline articles, that will resonate with the target audience
• Working alongside the account team to develop and implement creative media campaigns
• Communicating with clients

Qualifications

• A relevant graduate degree in PR, marketing, English or similar.
• Relevant work experience in PR for cybersecurity, digital lifestyle, B2B technology clients

• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent skills across digital tools and platforms including Microsoft Office software, social media platforms, email platforms and ideally project or online task management platforms
• Ability to multi-task and work to targets
• Professional and positive approach
• Attention to detail
• Ability to cope under pressure
• Team player, and able to work on own initiative
• Personable, articulate and creative with a can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile when required

Desirable:

• Good academic background
• An interest in technology and its application in personal and business environments
• Experience with content writing, social media and video production

Remuneration: Starting from INR 6 Lakhs p.a.
